On my way to work today, I experienced the first showers of the season. There I was, standing by the train door, enjoying the cool breeze, when all of a sudden, it started drizzling! What a pleasant surprise!
I absolutely loved it! :) Picture yourself in my place... Catching the breeze on a hot, sunny day and in the midst of the heat; there are cool drops of rain falling from the heavens on your skin, the sweet smell of wet earth moistened by the rain, a glimpse of Marine Drive and the Arabian Sea shimmering in the distance like a jewel... Heaven!
I was grinning from ear to ear, kinda like the Chesire cat. What better way to illustrate this feeling than to quote Messieurs Ren & Stimpy's famous words "Happy happy joy joy!" ;p
It was the perfect beginning to my day. Here's wishing you all a little bit of sunshine and cool rain to top off your day!
